Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Associate Member
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joined ICA as an Associate Member in January 2024. The Ministry is responsible for formulating the general policies of labor and workers’ systems in both the public and private sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is also responsible for all matters related to social affairs and its developmental programs, which align with the visions and policies adopted by the government of the Kingdom. The Department of Cooperative Associations operates under the Ministry with 419 registered cooperatives. -
MSU-IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MSU-IIT NMPC), Philippines – Full Member
MSU – IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MSU-IIT NMPC) from the Philippines joined ICA in May 2024 as a Full Member. They are a primary cooperative offering credit and savings services. Other benefits include insurance, housing, and a coop academy. Initially a closed-type cooperative only for the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), later they transitioned into an open-type cooperative in 2001. They currently operate 21 branches across Mindanao with 295 employees serving around 30,000 members. They aim to engage in the ICA network and linkages, supporting the common agenda. -
Cambodia Agricultural Cooperative Alliance (CAC Alliance), Cambodia – Full Member
CAC Alliance from Cambodia joined the ICA in May 2024 as a Full Member. It is a non-profit corporation with certain regulatory requirements delegated by the government. It was created to better manage and serve the agriculture cooperatives in Cambodia. Their members are cooperatives formed by local communities and their farms to better manage and distribute their crop production. Their first 5-year strategic plan includes institutional capacity, financial viability, member services, value chain development, and enabling environment. CAC Alliance joined ICA to get more knowledge on cooperation among members and share the best practices. -
Providers Multipurpose Cooperative (Providers MPC), Philippines – Full Member
Providers MPC, originally a savings and credit cooperative, transformed into a multi-service cooperative about 10 years ago. They provide services like lending, deposit, retail, medical, insurance, funeral, etc. They envision it to be a world-class cooperative serving Filipinos and enriching the lives of members and the community. They joined ICA to benefit from global networking with the cooperative community.
